Teacher of Social Sciences

About the role:

Napier Girls’ High School is seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to join our Social Sciences Learning Area.

This role is suitable for a beginning or experienced teacher. Our ideal candidate will be able to teach Commerce to Level 1 and up to Level 3 in their specialist Social Science subject.  

This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January of 2025.

Napier Girls’ High School is located in Ahuriri, Napier, and provides education for students in Years 9-13. The School is one of the oldest in New Zealand for girls. Kaiārahi/Guidance Counsellor

About the role:

Napier Girls’ High School is seeking an experienced and empathetic Guidance Counsellor to join our school community.  

The purpose of this role is to offer counselling opportunities to ākonga, staff and whānau as required and ensure our pastoral care systems meet the needs of our whole community. Our ideal candidate will be NZAC or ANZASW registered and have experience working with young people and their whānau.

This role is permanent & part-time (0.4 FTE), beginning in Janurary 2025.
